Solomon Azouz

Dr. Solomon Azouz is a board-certified plastic surgeon in Dallas, Texas. He completed his General Surgery residency at the University of Toronto and his Plastic and Reconstructive training at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona. Dr. Azouz founded the Lipedema Center of Excellence, which is the first program in Texas that aims to help obtain insurance coverage for lipedema surgeries. Dr. Azouz is committed to improving the lives of those affected by this medical condition. Dr. Azouz personalizes a surgical plan for each patient consisting of staged liposuction and skin excision procedures. Dr. Azouz has customized Azouz Cannulas for tumescent liposuction and also uses power assisted liposuction (PAL) for his cases. Dr. Azouz uses local anesthesia with sedation for the majority of cases but can use general anesthesia if necessary, prioritizing patient safety. Dr. Azouz's mission for the Lipedema Center of Excellence goes beyond medical competence to provide a welcoming atmosphere that addresses both the physical and emotional elements of living with lipedema.
